Miscellaneous Leather Items

Revised 10-25-2002

Just about anything can be made of leather. Over the years I've made some pretty interesting pieces. These are here to show you just a few of the possibilities.

Hummingbird and morning glory

Waitress ticket book - $80
Cova color, Liquitex iridescent medium on the bird, resolene and super sheen. The leather is not dyed. It is Wickett and Craig chestnut saddle skirting split to 3/4oz. finished with neats foot oil.

Watch Band - $60, multiple styles available with any subject.

Jingle Bells

Jingle Bells - $40 for the set
Originally made these to hang on the doors of a local restaurant. Unfortunately they didn't work. The door opens and closes too softly to ring the bells. They would work nicely on a dog harness, or as home door bells. Wickett and Craig chestnut leather, finished with oil and tan kote.

Jacket Patch
Carved for a local motorcyclist from very thin leather to move with the leather of his jacket. The natural leather background will age to a dark walnut brown with exposure to the sun while the acrylic colors stay fresh and bright.
